Through the dual process of destroying (Big Bang) then creating the universe was life created by God who has left evidence that all things remain seperate yet connected.
As Such the Quran explains that process remarkably in just a few short words. “Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we cleaved them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?" (Quran 21:30) This particular verse from the Quran relates to the reader that all of creation was once united as a single whole. Then God destroyed that unity in favor of a universe that would be the breeding ground for living entities. As such, every organic creature has at its basic component water. And all of creation, as diverse and unrelated as the individual items may seem, are indeed connected. Cosmic Connection and the Quran Science has discovered that the number of galaxies in the universe is virtually immeasurable. As being a part of creation humans don’t have the best observation of cosmic items here on earth. What is seen from earth is a very small part of creation. However, technology like the Hubble Telescope has allowed scientist to peer deep into space. To their astonishment they have noticed that what they once thought were stars filling the night sky are in fact whole galaxies. Galaxies that were once bound as one are now spread across the universe for billions of light years in all directions. Yet even in this state of being separated by the Will of God everything is still connected. Everything is still connected by the presence of dark matter/energy that fills the supposedly empty portions of space. Scientist state they cannot see this dark matter/energy but can see its presence by the gravitational effect it has on visible objects. Earth Connection and the Quran Here on earth every living thing is connected and bound together by the atmosphere that surrounds the planet. And through it are all living things fed. Also through the atmosphere — more specifically the electromagnetic sphere — is earth protected from solar radiation. So in a sense, one can say that the natural order of things (i.e. planetary bombardment by cosmic and solar rays) is interrupted so that life can thrive; this is a creative act from God. Subatomic World Connection and the Quran At the very basis of matter are atoms. They are the basic unit from which solid matter is created. These particles can further be divided into electrons, protons, and neutrons; so named due to their charge. These particles are separate within the small world of the atom, yet bound together in perpetual interaction. Connection through Opposing Forces Thus it is obvious that reality is a balanced combination of positive and negative; flow and ebb; yin and yang; light and dark; or destruction and birth. Opposites, or the agitation of something by a stimulus, are what is needed to get things going. Islam teaches that that something is God. You can’t have a Big Bang without the stimulus creating the charge. In the beginning, the universe was a vibrating single point of reality where all creation lay. From here expanded all that exist into a vibrant vibrating pulsating universe suited in its perfection to give birth to living organisms. According to the Quran, a planned event from One who created and shaped all there is; a creation connected through invisible bonds inseparable and perfect for the purpose of which it was created; life.
